Orwak in key account deal in Spain

In 2010 Orwak has become part of one of the most important agreements in baler sales in Spain within the last few years. FCC has acquired 262 units of Orwak 3210, Orwak 3410 and Orwak 3110, in order to be installed throughout the Eroski supermarket chain. This sales operation is part of a larger agreement in which FCC becomes responsible for the waste management of cardboard boxes generated within the Eroski group.

Both FCC and Eroski, led by their internal policy procedures which intensely promote good environmental practices, have positively evaluated the advantages that this type of technology contributes to both: savings in internal and external carrying expenses, freeing up of space in their facilities, improvement in safety conditions and greater order and cleanliness amongst others.

Internaco S.A, as the exclusive Orwak dealer in Spain, has become part of a leading project involving two of the most important Spanish companies:

-   FCC is the head of one of the first European groups of services to citizens, both in the number of businesses run and in their profitability, with greatly diversified activity: management of environmental services and water, infrastructures construction, cement production, urban equipment or renewable energy generation. They are present in more than 54 countries and employ 93,000 people.

- Eroski: this company is market leader in the distribution within the food industry in Spain with 1.257 wholly-owned supermarkets and 525 franchised supermarkets and employs 52.700 people.
